LONGTORAINI EKLOBYA

(Scene to Scene synopsis in Brief)

Scene – 1

Chariot,Dance form with Recitation, Palace shape with Bows :

Bhism, the king maker wanting explanation to Guru Drona

Bhism to Drona – Why you have cut the thumb of Eklabya , a poor tribal boy who came to you for learning  archery ? Should a teacher classify his students on caste and community basis? Do you justify them tribal or non- tribal?

Drona – Of course I do neither classify them nor justify their cast and community. I was ordered to teach archery to your grandsons only. That is why I could not take Eklobya a student. In spite of my objections he continued practicing archery keeping a statue of mine under a tree. So I had to order to cut his own thumb not only for punishing him but also to cut the possibility of challenges in coming days as because Eklobya was talented of high quality.

Sikwla (the only eye witness of the incident) suddenly rushes into the place of discussion) – Sir, Please listen to me also.

Drona – Who are you? Where have you come from, how you could be here?

Bhism – Ok. Please say what you want, don’t worry.

Sikwla – Sir, I belong to the community that Eklobya does.  We want to learn, we want to get education like others. We are the humble subjects of your. We are the sons of the great Bharata and are so proud of it. Sir, please have a look to our small village in the Longtorai, a remotest corner of your country.
